Met trillende handen strijk ik over de oude grafsteen. Het bladgoud in de letters is vrijwel helemaal afgebladderd, waardoor zijn naam amper nog te lezen is tegen de diepzwarte steen.
"Jay?" vraag ik met verbazing in mijn stem. Hoe heeft hij die steen nou weer gevonden? Zijn naam staat er toch echt op. Jayden Alexander Ashton. Een grijns vormt zich op mijn gezicht. Die gek heeft zich zeker weer ergens verstopt, om mij voor de gek te houden. Ik kijk om me heen, en eindig met mijn blik op het graf voor me. Zou hij zich écht hebben
